Cast & Alloys Environmental Management Systems are certified to ISO 14001:2015 underlining our commitment to monitoring and improving our Environmental performance.
Our company has taken strong initiatives to monitor and reduce the energy consumption of our furnaces. We are using high efficiency electric melting furnaces.
Proper treatment of metal leads to reduced dross formation. Casting runners and risers are re-melted along with fresh alloy. All the dross from Aluminum melts, forging trimmings and swarf generated during machining are segregated as per grade and returned to the raw material supplier for reprocessing
We are installing dust extraction equipment to cut dust emissions from our fettling department, and oil mist extraction devices on CNC bar cutting machines to cut mist oil contamination in the shop floor.
All packaging materials used are fully recyclable. For customers located close to our plant within a 150mile radius we offer reusable packaging. Solutions for their parts.
Transport is minimised through effective production planning and having most processes in-house. We do ware housing to meet Just – In - Time delivery requirements of our customers and maintain their ware housing goals. This effective planning reduces the delivery cycle thus minimizing the use of transportation. We have custom built Ware Housing Software that has 16 weeks look ahead capability showing parts real time at warehouse, parts in transit and parts consumed by customer.
