Aluminum Forging

Cast & Alloys is an Expert in forging Aluminum. For over a decade our company has been a preferred supplier of precision forged parts to Bicycle, Motorcycle, Heavy Commercial Vehicle, Valve and Engineering industry. Parts can range from 0.025 grams up to 5.0 Kgs. and can be forged from a wide range of Aluminum grades. Aluminum Forging provides high strength parts that are used for stressed application.
Materials commonly used in Aluminum Forgings are. . .
2xxx Series : 2014 (H15), 2618 (H12)
6xxx Series : 6061, 6061A (H20), 6063, 6082 (H9) and 6351 (H30)
7xxx Series : 7075
We also use material confirming to British 1472, DIN 1749, and ASTM (B-247) standards. The high purity of the input material is precisely heated using induction heating and forged by precision screw press in a steel die. Aluminum forging delivers high strength, high finish parts which hold good dimensional accuracy. These forgings are trimmed for excess flash and are Heat Treated to achieve the desired tensile strength and microstructure. Because of high ductility of Aluminum used in forging, machinability is moderate but has excellent anodizing property. The parts can be Type II and Type III Anodized in natural or dye colours ranging from black, blue, magenta, gold to name a few.
Specific to customer product requirement we suggest the best suitable alloys and Heat Treatment process, thus enabling us meet customer requirement technical specifications.

Our Capabilties

Cast & Alloys has invested in forging equipment that are capable of forging high precision parts in Aluminium and Titanium alloys. Company believes in technological upgradation to stay ahead of the competition. We have has installed a sophisticated forging line comprising of a 1000 Ton Direct Drive CNC Screw Press, auto spray unit, induction heating furnace with multi colour pyrometer to achieve precise heating of billet and robot for complete automation. This line is capable of delivering very high precision forgings in bulk quantities.
The forgings we produce today hold very tight tolerances, are very high on aesthetics and provide very fine surface finish.
